Corporate History

Corporate Directions, Inc. (CDI) entered the consulting business in 1986 as the first independent strategic management consulting firm based in Japan. Ten consultants at Tokyo office of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) established CDI to fill a gap in the services provided by existing consulting firms.

CDI not only provides traditional strategic consulting services for mapping success but also assists clients to implement those strategies effectively. Today, CDI's services extend to non-traditional areas, such as strategic investment banking and hands-on implementation services.
